Pitcharama: eek! It starts next week!

We are super excited to announce that oh-my-goodness, Pitcharama starts NEXT WEEK! For the uninitiated, Pitcharama is a competition organised by the lovely Aussie Owned and Read ladies (if we do say so ourselves) where we attempt to showcase the work of talented authors of young and new adult work with a host of indie presses.

This competition officially kicks off next week. If you’d like to enter, you simply need to write your 250-word synopsis on your blog on June 16, adding your name to the Linky list. From there, each Aussie Owned and Read member will choose three entries to move forward and host on our blog on June 27, where the editors from several independent publishers, including spokespeople from Anaiah Press, Curiosity Quills, Immortal Ink Publishing, Soul Mate Publishing, Turquoise Morning Press and Limitless Publishing.

And, for those of you who don’t make it through to the editor round initially, we have Pitch Your Mate, where, in celebration of the Aussie tradition of mateship, you can pitch a friend’s story for their chance to progress through to the editor round, too.

So make sure you mark those dates in your diaries, authors: June 16 is when we want to see YOUR 250-word pitch, June 21 we want you to pitch your mate, and June 27 is PITCHARAMA! Don’t forget to hashtag us so we can follow your journey online.
