2014 the year of YA book to movie adaptions

Adapting YA books into movies is Hollywood’s current ‘thing’. Well that and Thor… After the huge success of Twilight and Harry Potter, the powers that be seem to be searching for the next franchise. They’re tried Hunger Games, Mortal Instruments, Perks of Being a Wallflower and a whole host of other best selling YA books. There is even talk of some NA books being adapted for the big screen as well, like 50 Shades. I’m not sure how I feel about that one.

So the poll I bring you today is; which upcoming adaption are you most looking forward to? Feel free to add your own in the comment if I forgot something. I think I’m going to spend all year hanging out at the movie theatre!

Stacey NashStacey Nash is a YA book to move addict. She hopes to one day, have enough time to watch all the movies and read all the books. Her debut novel, a YA Sci-fi that isn’t a movie is now available. You can catch her via the usual mediums; website, twitter, facebook, or pinterest.
