Don’t forget to come back tomorrow and Pitch Your Mate right here. We’ll be putting through 6 entries to the editor round.

  1. Thanks, Katie! My new hero!! So excited! Can we link submit a link directly to our entry, because I don’t think I did originally but I want to blog in the meantime and don’t want the entry to get lost.

  2. Eee! Exciting! Congrats everybody else chosen!

Just to clarify, is it a pitch or a query (ie. with wordcount and genre included in the 250) we’re putting through to the editing round? Sorry if this was mentioned before and I missed it.

      1. *blinks* Ooh, I just learnt something new! So, the wordcount and genre doesn’t count as the body of the query? Interesting.

      2. No, it’s usually separate. In an actually query it is an extra sentence. Something like…

Little Women is a 83,000 word YA Historical with romantic elements. (I made that up)

In this competition, it is the blurb section only. 🙂
